For example, he has been closely involved with the Haagsche Rugby Club for many years—first as a player and now, among other roles, as a coach. Arnoud Bakhuizen has been a familiar face in the real estate industry for over 25 years. As a senior appraiser, he is happy to assist you with complex appraisals. In addition, Arnoud is an experienced advisor and partner who thinks strategically alongside you. Born and raised in The Hague, he knows the local market like no one else.

His curiosity and wide-ranging interests are also evident in his free time: Arnoud is a big history buff and enjoys reading books. You’ll also often find him at or around the racetrack, as he has a tremendous passion for motorsports as well.

Marije joined Oosterhof Makelaars in late 2023. She brought with her enthusiasm, experience, and her own portfolio of properties for sale and rent. Prior to that, she worked independently, primarily serving expats in the high-end market. Due to changes in the market, she wanted to put her ideas about real estate brokerage into practice within a larger firm. At Oosterhof, she found that opportunity, surrounded by colleagues she trusts and with whom she thoroughly enjoys working.

She now focuses on buying and selling homes. Marije thrives on a challenge, thinks on her feet, and draws energy from projects that combine strategy, intuition, and results. With her strong networking skills and dedication, she serves as a vital link between the office and clients. Every home and client requires a unique approach: personal, clear, and focused on achieving the best possible result. Whenever her schedule allows, she enjoys staying active in the buying, selling, and leasing of properties in the high-end market.

At Marije’s initiative, the way we work together at Oosterhof also changed: no more silos, but one team in which everyone’s expertise is put to the best possible use. In addition, she enthusiastically led the complete rebranding effort, ensuring that who we are as a firm would truly be reflected in and felt through our image.

Outside of work, Marije enjoys sports, singing, interior design, and fashion. On the weekends, you’re just as likely to find her enjoying a good cup of coffee on a patio as you are with a nice glass of wine on the beach. The best compliment? Clients who come back or recommend her to friends and family. Because, ultimately, it’s all about the value of trust.

Ton Oosterhof has been involved with the family business—which was then still known as Oosterhof Makelaars—since January 1, 1996.

Over the years, Ton has always combined various roles and has become a true jack-of-all-trades: from property management and construction supervision to real estate brokerage and, of course, buying and selling homes for “family and friends.”

Over the past year, our firm has undergone a transformation in which a spirit of sportsmanship and teamwork has come to the fore—something Ton feels very much at home with. No silos, no competition—just a shared commitment to achieving good results.

His love for historic real estate, classic cars, Burgundy, and Tuscany brings color to his life. And to keep it all in balance, he enjoys taking a good walk with his dog.

At Oosterhof, Suzanne is responsible for managing our rental properties. She ensures that everything is well organized behind the scenes and maintains contact with both tenants and landlords. She values direct communication, clarity, and personal contact. And if an issue arises? Suzanne is happy to help find a solution and makes sure it gets addressed.

Even outside of work, Suzanne doesn’t like to sit still. She’s a mother of two girls, is creative, and loves turning a house into a cozy home. She’s a real go-getter who loves getting things done, both at home and at Oosterhof.

Wim has been a familiar face in The Hague’s rental market for years. With his love for his hometown of The Hague, he knows the city and the dynamics of its neighborhoods inside and out.
